Jul 13, 2018 Engineering A Portrait Photography Shoot In Milton Keynes
We sent a professional photographer of ours out on location to visit truck fleet giant Ryder Milton Keynes and do a portrait photography.
The aim was to capture some portrait photography of their ‘star’ apprentice, Jay Ahmed, to promote his recent success of being an apprentice of the year finalist at the SEMTA skills awards.
Along with our professional photographer, we brought along our brand new Rotolight LED lights and one of our trusted Sony A9 cameras. With our Rotolights they allow us to adjust the colour temperature of the light to complement the natural lighting in whichever environment we may find ourselves in. This is great when we are shooting outside of the photography studio, as we have no control over the unpredictable lighting.
After shooting the portraits of Jay, we ventured out onto the garage floor equipped with our safety boots and goggles to capture some lifestyle imagery of the man of the hour tinkering under the bonnet of one of their vans.
Overall Jay was an absolute star, very comfortable in front of the camera even when we were down in the pit under the 40-tonne truck! With these new images, he is destined for the front page of the company’s internal magazine.
We wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone at Ryder for making our visit hassle free and enjoyable, we look forward to seeing Jay in print for next month and we wish him all the best for the future!
