Feb 08, 2019 Lifestyle Photography Milton Keynes: Studio Shoot For Cole And Mason
We shoot all sorts of lifestyle photography here at Uniquecapture studio and this time around it was Cole and Mason’s salt and pepper mills.
This was an exciting shoot because we were asked to create scenes where the mills could be kept in somebody’s home and had lots of room to play with!
Our lovely client Laura had briefed us well and had asked for us to create a few different backgrounds that we could use as our backdrop. We were more than happy to accommodate and got our DIY hats on.
We have numerous backgrounds that we can use in the studio, included a white brick wall, a red brick wall and rustic light and dark wood. These backgrounds are incredibly striking and can accentuate any product you place in front of it. We were also asked to create a copper wall, which was quickly built by our team and ready to use on the day.
Between us and Laura, we had many props to utilise on the day of the shoot, the entire studio was full! From bowls of fruit and cookie jars, to plates, bowls and coffee cups. Each image had a theme that complimented the main product, so we were conscious to fit to this theme.
The great thing about a shoot like this is that there is so much room for creativity. Nothing was set in stone and we basically could do what we liked! We even decided half way through the shoot to go and find more props! As you do.
With the client right beside us art directing the shoot, we had great confidence in achieving the best results together. We always tether our shoots to a 27” iMac screen so our clients can see instant results on the big screen. This way we can tweak and perfect the image step by step.
We were left with some amazing images and Laura was very happy. They looked modern, fresh and classy, which suited Cole and Mason’s brand perfectly. Do you think we could match the style of your brand? Check out our other product lifestyle photography projects here!
