As you would expect, products related to staying at home has seen a huge increase in eCommerce sales. Its clear that UK consumers are preparing for a spring/summer in their gardens and staying in. Reports from ccinsight.org highlights a year on year growth in online sales of barbecues +275% and hammocks +1292%!

Bloomberg also reports another sector which has seen a modest increase in growth is Apparel, specifically in the sports and fitness category. With top searches of “Shorts” “Joggers” and “Leggings” taking top position as UK consumers try to stay fit at home.

The following sectors are experiencing the greatest increase moving into the 7th week of UK lockdown. Garden, Home/DIY, Health & Beauty and Home Gym/Fitness Equipment.
