Dec 24, 2021 Cooking demo videography and production for Masterchef Champion Jane Devonshire
We helped Jane Devonshire (Masterchef Champion 2016) wish everyone a happy festive season with a specially designed festive menu for people to create at home, by producing a cooking demo short documentary.
Our role
Our talented team at Unique Capture produced and directed a cooking demo video for Jane Devonshire (Instagram and BBC), in partnership with Signature Senior Lifestyle. We coordinated and constructed lighting of the set, as well as the entirety of the recording and sound for the video.
We then also captured stills during the set for promotional usage, and to capture the dishes for recipes online. We then edited the final cut together.
On the day
On set, we had a set stylist to make our fully-functioning studio kitchen come to life with Christmas cheer. Jane Devonshire also had a second chef on site, to do extra food preparation for her whilst she was on set.
We had two video cameras set up, along with a stills photographer.
We also had a teleprompter for two people to do pieces to camera, for a completely slik and professional finish.
There were 4 sections to the video- strater, main, desert and festive cocktail. We directed and created full production for the entirety of the video.
